Collection of Japanese beef recipe
Japanese cuisine is one of the most attractive cuisines in Asia. They used various types of meat, such as beef, chicken, pork.
Here is some beef recipe collection from Japanese cuisine.
1. Japanese beef recipe
2 Potatoes (large) cut into cube
2 Carrots (Large) cut into cube
Japanese Curry Paste 1 package
Beef Stock 2 tablespoon or adjust your choice ( optional)
Japanese Vinegar 1 tablespoon or adjust to taste (optional)
Instant Coffee 2 teaspoon ( optional)
Mirin to taste ( optional)
First, cut the beef into 1-1.5 inch cube shape. Add 1 teaspoon salt and marinate for an hour then pan fry until nice brown crust.
Now put the beef in a pressure cooker and add one cup of water and cook for 20mins.
Add the potatoes and carrots and cover it. If needed then add water.
Add 2 teaspoon salt and boil for 20mins.
After 10 minutes add the onions and 1 tablespoon sugar. Once cooked, drain and keep the liquid.
Add the curry paste and bring to a gentle simmer.
Finally add instant coffee, beef stock, mirin, vinegar, sugar, salt to taste.
Simmer till the potatoes are soft and serve with rice.
2. Japanese beef steak
1-2 cloves garlic ( sliced thinly)
Sugar 1 tablespoon
Soy Sauce 2 tablespoon
Sake 2 tablespoon
2 1″ thick New York steaks
Salt to taste
White pepper to taste
Oil as needed
Add sugar, Soy Sauce, Sake, water in a bowl to make the sauce. Keep aside.
Now sprinkle the salt and pepper on the steaks.
Heat oil in a pan and add sliced garlic and cook until browned. Then remove garlic from the pan.
Now add steaks to the same pan and cook about 2 minutes per side. Then add the sauce, coating the meat with the sauce, and remove the meat from the pan.
Reduce the sauce for a minute.
Place the meat on a dish, pour the reduced sauce over them, then top with the garlic for garnish.
3. Beef & Cabbage Stir
Beef 500 gm
1/4 sweet red bell pepper (chopped)
1/4 Shredded Cabbage
Olive oil 1 tablespoon
1 medium white or yellow onion (diced)
2 Garlic Cloves (minced)
Soy Sauce 2 teaspoon
Siracha 1 teaspoon (more or less as your taste)
Ginger ( minced) 1 teaspoon
Honey 1 teaspoon
White Vinegar 1/2 teaspoon
Sesame Oil 1 teaspoon
Salt & pepper to taste
White pepper 1/4 teaspoon
Take a large frying pan, begin to saute the onions with the ground beef and olive oil. Then add garlic and red peppers.
Mix all ingredients except the cabbage & sesame oil in another pan and keep aside.
When the beef is browned and the peppers and onions are soft then add the cabbage.
When the cabbage has slightly wilted then add soy mixture and mix well. Now cook about 5 minutes remove from the heat.
Finally, add the sesame oil and mix well.
Serve with rice.
